Refund & Returns Policy

Guarantee and Returns

Vape Shop Birmingham will happily accept returns for a faulty non-disposable Vape Shop Birmingham product within 28 days of your purchase provided you are in possession of a valid receipt. This applies once per purchase, if any fault appears to affect the replacement product Vape Shop Birmingham regard this as a sign of misuse. Non-faulty products that seem faulty and products that have been rendered faulty as a result of misuse as judged on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Vape Shop Birmingham are not subject to this policy and cannot be returned.

Vape Shop Birmingham will only ship replacement products to the country of the original purchase, or to any address within the UK.

1. Due to the personal nature of electronic cigarettes, opened products cannot be returned except in the event of a fault.

2. If a purchased product is faulty, Vape Shop Birmingham will issue a refund or replacement only once the faulty product has been returned and inspected.

3. We do not offer refunds or replacements for products that were damaged by improper use or accident.

4. If a product was purchased in error or is no longer wanted (and is unopened/unused), please contact our Customer Service team via email at . Refunds or replacements of this nature are at the discretion of Vape Shop Birmingham and you accept that we are under no obligation to replace or refund unwanted purchases. We do not pay return shipping costs for unwanted or erroneous orders.

Batteries, Chargers and Variable Voltage Mods

These items come with a one month guarantee and have a life expectancy of 3-6 months. This does not affect your statutory rights. The guarantee covers any manufacturer defects and covers any repairs, or replacements, if deemed to be faulty or beyond repair. If the product has been damaged in any way by the customer we reserve the right to refuse a refund or return

Mechanical Mods

A 30 days manufacturer’s guarantee is applied to all mechanical mods. Please note that Mechanical Mods are for experienced users ONLY. Vape Shop Birmingham accepts no responsibility for the potential damage caused by the incorrect assembling of any mechanical mod. Incorrect building of the mechanical mod can cause damage to your equipment and as such Vape Shop Birmingham accepts no responsibility for the damage caused as this damage is the result of improper construction.

Tanks and Pod Tanks (Pod which has replaceable coil)

We only offer a 48 hour warranty on tanks and pod tanks, if the tank or pod is defective it will be apparent within a day or so especially if it is not functioning or excessively leaking. These faults must be reported immediately.

As tanks and pod tanks are used there will inevitably be deterioration of parts and seals that may render the tank or pod tank leaky over time.

Tanks normally have a significantly long period of use as most are designed to have a replaceable seal every time you change the coil so the longevity of actual tanks depends on use and care.
Pod tanks are generally required to be replaced every 2-4 months as they have rubber seals that do deteriorate depending on use and most have push fit coils which again can cause wear around the coil insert as they are normally made from high density plastic and this is normal and acceptable wear and tear.

There is always a little bit of condensation or spots of liquid on the contacts which is perfectly normal for all devices and happens for various reasons.

If you are experiencing leaking or atomizer short issues it is mainly due to the coil either not being inserted correctly or the coil being burnt out. A deteriorated coil allows liquid to pass through easier than a new coil and hence it causes leaking issues that are easily avoided by keeping the coil fresh and changing regularly. 

E-Liquids and Drip Tips

Our warranty does not extend to these items due to the nature of the products. For health and safety reasons, as well as hygiene, we cannot offer warranty on either. This is unless our staff determine that the item received is the incorrect item or if there are any other extenuating circumstances.

Atomizers, Clearomizers and Cartomizers

Dead on arrival. The customer must contact us within 24 hours after receiving the item in order for the warranty to be applicable. Contacting us after this allotted period will mean that we cannot offer a refund or return. Please note that this also applies to multipacks


For items which are located in our accessories section and those of which are NOT electronic or which are tied to our Dead on Arrival warranty (filler bottles or cleaning kits), have a 30 days manufacturer’s guarantee.

Disposable Products

Vape Shop Birmingham offer a ‘Dead-On-Arrival’ guarantee on disposable products (i.e. Clearomisers), this means Vape Shop Birmingham will only accept returns on provably faulty disposable items within 48-hours after purchase, and only on production of a valid receipt. We do not guarantee the taste or puff count on any disposable product as that can not be verified and is extremely subjective. Non-faulty products that seem faulty and products that have been rendered faulty as a result of misuse, as judged on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Vape Shop Birmingham, are not subject to this policy and cannot be returned.

Due to the increase in the number of people abusing our dead on arrival policy and trying to make fraudulent returns, we now require all faulty products to be sent back for inspection. Sorry for any inconvenience it may cause genuine customers.

We are a small business protecting ourselves from customers who use bullying tactics to rip us off!

Taste or Flavour

Taste of any product is a very subjective issue and can not be verified as it is will vary by person and product.

There are inherent variances of taste from batch to batch even of the same product from time to time as no batch can be manufactured exactly the same but these variances are extremely small and most products are very consistent in taste and flavour.

This issue has been further exasperated due to the side effects of Covid-19 (loss or impairment of taste).


VSB is only the retailer and not the manufacturer of any product. We can not be held liable for any adverse reactions to any of the products we retail. We advise all customers to check ingredients before purchase to avoid any unnecessary effects. If you need further information on any ingredients contained within the products you can contact the manufacturer directly or send us an email and we can provide the relevant information.

The following circumstances will void the guarantee;

1. Guarantee period is expired
2. Damage caused by misuse or excessive force
3. Damage caused by unauthorised disassembly or modification
4. Damage caused by unforeseen circumstance or accident
5. Damage caused during delivery – this will be the responsibility of the postage service

You must be in possession of a valid receipt to claim against your guarantee. This is not applicable to online orders as we will have a record of your purchase.

Items may be returned within 7 days provided they have not been opened or used and are in the same condition as they were sold. Vape Shop Birmingham will not issue a refund for any postage charges and will deduct the cost of postage from your refund. Please contact us either by telephone or email before returning goods in the post.

Order Discrepancies

Any discrepancies in orders such as flavour, strength or colour, wrong product must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of your order. The product must not have been opened or used.

Missing Items must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order.

We reserve the right to use our discretion upon assessing the discrepancy or missing item claim by verifying the stock levels in our warehouse.
